Ghana 2018: Marvin’s Reflection

The 2018 mission trip to Ghana was my 1st mission.

I found the people we served and met in Takoradi, Accra and Sekondi interesting, loving and welcoming.

We screened approximately 200 patients and performed surgery on maybe 10% of them. Others were treated with medications and advice.

The schools in Takoradi, hospital in Essikado and markets in Accra and the Coast all provided life changing experiences.

I have included pictures and would consider doing another mission as time and money permits.

I would like to thank Karen, Dr. Glenn, David Jeannette, Dan Baird and Dr. Grace Ayensu-Danquah for all their help and hospitality.
